About my artworks
In my work, I focus on different time periods in the flow of everyday life and take slices from life. This sometimes appears in the gaze of a portrait, sometimes in the continuity of a movement, or in the various emotions of individuals.
While not giving up traditional paint in my creations, I try different techniques. In this sense, oil paint and tulle are my two main materials. I progress by taking advantage of the possibilities created by the different materials I use.
The fragility and transparency that emerge in tulle works define the emotion of the piece. The contradiction of the material between presence and absence conceptually strengthens the work.
In oil paintings, I use traditional techniques along with contemporary approaches. In my figure and portrait works, I focus on the contradictions, roles, and emotions of the individual in society.
The ordinariness and at the same time the extraordinariness of daily life, in various ways, determine the main theme of my works.
